Using this site

This website is operated by Tap Custom Painting LLC. By using it you agree to these terms. The content here is provided for general information about our painting services in Columbia, South Carolina and the surrounding Midlands.

Estimates and quotes

Nothing on this website is a quote or a binding price. Prices depend on the property, the surfaces, the amount of preparation required, and the scope you choose. A real price comes from a free on-site estimate, which we provide in writing before any work begins. A written estimate is valid for the period stated on it.

Scheduling and weather

Exterior painting depends on temperature, rain, and humidity, and Midlands weather moves schedules. If weather or an unforeseen site condition changes your schedule, we will tell you as soon as we know rather than after the fact.

Licensing and insurance

Tap Custom Painting LLC is licensed and insured. We are happy to provide proof of insurance before work begins, and we send certificates to property managers as a matter of course on commercial jobs.

Promotions

We currently run one promotion: $250 off any qualifying painting project, offer code TAP250. The following terms apply.

  • The project total must be $2,500 or more before the discount is applied.
  • The offer applies to painting projects only.
  • The offer must be mentioned at or before the free estimate.
  • One discount per household or property, per project.
  • The offer cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion, or discount.
  • The offer is not applicable to work already quoted, in progress, or completed.
  • The offer is not redeemable for cash and has no cash value.
  • Tap Custom Painting LLC may modify or end this promotion at any time.

Payment

Payment terms are set out in your written estimate or contract. Any deposit, progress payment, and final balance will be stated there before work begins.

Photographs of completed work

We photograph our own completed work and may use those photographs on this site and in our advertising. Photographs never include identifying details such as a street address or a house number. If you would rather we did not photograph your project, tell us and we will not.

Intellectual property

The text, photographs, and design of this site belong to Tap Custom Painting LLC and may not be copied or reused without permission. Every photograph on this site is of a real job we completed.

Limitation of liability

We work hard to keep this website accurate, but we do not warrant that it is free of errors or always available. To the fullest extent permitted by South Carolina law, Tap Custom Painting LLC is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits our obligations under a signed contract for work performed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina.
